Fibre in, fibre out
Packaging made from paper has an advantage most materials do not: handled properly, it goes round again. Here is how that works in practice at our plant.
We actively use recyclable materials and energy-efficient production systems to reduce waste and minimise environmental impact, aligning with Zambia's broader sustainability goals.
The material is already circular
Corrugated board is made from paper fibre, is recyclable at end of life, and a large share of what we run is recycled fibre to begin with. It is one of the few packaging materials where the sustainable option is also the standard one.
Waste is recovered, not dumped
Trim, offcuts and rejected board are collected, weighed and sold back into the paper stream rather than going to landfill. The volume recovered is tracked as a matter of routine.
The lightest board that works
Specifying a heavier board than the journey requires wastes fibre and money at the same time. We quote the board the route actually needs, and say so when a customer is buying more than they need.
Less packaging travelling empty
Boxes are supplied flat and made up on the customer's line wherever the format allows, so transport carries product rather than air.

Environmental obligations
Producer responsibility and environmental compliance obligations are administered alongside production rather than treated as paperwork at year end.
